Christina Ignatius Floral Design

Master Florist and Educator

Welcome to Christina Ignatius Floral Design

Welcome to my site! My name is Christina Ignatius. I am a Master Florist and Educator who has been in many facets of the the floral industry for more than thirty years.  As a perpetual student of Floral Design, I have been pursuing my education with some of the best instructors in the world, and my certifications include AIFD EMC IMF PFCI and AzMF.  My goal is to take my mastery of American, European, and International design and pass that knowledge and experience on to my students. Whether you are a beginner to the floral industry or a seasoned designer, I pride myself on meeting you where you are on your floral journey and elevating you to where you want to be.

If you are looking to transform your floral career and push yourself to the levels of accreditation you have always dreamed of, I can help you start that journey.  I am looking for students who want to find their signature style.  I am looking for students who would like to command a higher rate and build their reputation in the industry.  My program trains your hands and eye to execute design at the next level, so your work doesn’t just pass a test… it stands out to studios, creative directors, and international educators.

My program is for floral enthusiasts who want to move from standard production work into elevated, European‑inspired design and higher-end clients.  I know it can be done, because I did it myself.  I spent months in Belgium training for the European Master Certification and in The Netherlands earning my International Master Florist accreditations.  These are exclusive classes with demanding acceptance requirements and rigorous curriculums.  As a graduate of both, I would like to share my experiences with my students and prepare them for their journey towards those certifications.

Having a higher education of floral design has changed the trajectory of my career. With this knowledge and experience, they have changed the exposure I receive, and the opportunities I am offered, and the pay I commission.  If you are looking for an international floral career, I can mentor you.  I am offering classes that will get you started on that journey and put you in the best position to succeed.

What kind of floral career are you looking for?

I can help you take the next steps.

Working in a flower shop can give one great work ethic, experience, and an outlet to provide beautiful designs to your local clients.  I started that way.  I think we all did!  I cherish the times I spent in flower shops in the Chicago suburbs, Marco Island, and Scottsdale.

But I found out there is more....

Alike to Dorothy opening the door to her house that fell on the Wicked witch, when everything turned from black and white to COLOR!

Continuing education has lead me to opportunities outside of the flower shop that include exciting freelance jobs, worldwide travel, unbelievable locations, and excellent pay rates.

Are you ready to take the next step in your floral journey?

How is this program different from all of the other floral design classes that I see?

  • This program is for good florists who are looking to be great, and who can position themselves for higher paying freelance opportunities.
  • The classes here today and in the future are designed to give you a path to a flower career, not just a floral job.
  • These techniques and methods are normally locked inside competitive American, European, and International programs that most florists will never access.
  • You will access exclusive mechanics, design styles, and professional standards that are rarely taught in workshops and online classes.
  • You’ll learn proprietary approaches to structure, form, and mechanics that immediately make your work stand out to high‑end shops and event planners.
  • This program gives you access to advanced American, European, and International design, without the travel, the time commitment and the large expense.
  • These classes take your work beyond the baseline, and put you in a different class of floral professionals.
