Christina Ignatius has studied floral design all over the world and is one of the few American florists to have earned the International Master Florist designation and also the European Master Certification. Her education has included time with some of the greatest floral educators in Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and France.
Christina has brought her international floral design techniques and her fun teaching style back home to Scottsdale, to teach in-home classes for you and your friends.
She has a full menu of beginner-friendly classes that match the season, and she brings all of the flowers and containers to your home.

Everyone does Valentines Day. Instead, we are going to focus on some carefully curated Hawaiian flowers, shipped to the mainland specifically for our class.

Christina is going to use her worldwide contacts in the floral industry to bring in some exotic flowers from places like the Netherlands, Africa and Columbia, to help you create a wild combination that you will never see at your local flower shop.
FUN AND LEARNING
Hosting your friends, family and neighbors can be a lot of stress on the hostess. Christina and her team take all that stress away by providing all of the supplies, all of the learning, and all of the fun.
Some of your guests will dive-in and take the instruction very seriously, while others will have a glass of wine and enjoy interacting with the other guests. Christina has taught thousands of students in all different settings, so she will know your audience and their needs.
The cost of the class includes the take-home floral arrangement, so no matter the level of the lesson; every guest is going home with a high-quality arrangement with the best quality flowers available. In fact, Christina's agreements with international suppliers allows her to source exotic flowers not readily available in your local flower shop.
Each lesson is carefully constructed to include a unique combination of hard-to-find flowers from all parts of the world. The class and the flowers are truly international, and you will be able to appreciate them for several days afterwards in your own home.
I'M CHRISTINA.
I am a Mom of three living in Scottsdale who has recently jumped back into my career. After playing the role of Mother for so many years, it has been a blessing to rekindle my love of flowers, my obsession with ongoing education, and my interest in teaching.
I like to teach beginners as well as advanced florists, and I am happiest when everyone is having a great time. I have been lucky enough to teach the Notre Dame Mom's Guild the past two years and we have all been having a great time. I am hoping to meet more hosts who will have me to their homes to teach floral design to you and your friends and neighbors.
We can craft the class in any way you wish and select the best arrangement for your guests to design. I have a worldwide network of flower suppliers, so we can import just the right combination for your perfect arrangement.

WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?
Christina and her team supply all of the flowers, the water, the structures and the tools. They bring in all of the supplies and work with your guests to make sure they have what they need and they make the best version of the design. We monitor their progress, do some coaching, and give every guest the level of attention that they need.
You need to provide a space, either indoor or outdoor, with tables and chairs to accommodate a workspace for each guest. Food and beverage is up to you, but it is an interactive class, so this is not a dinner party and more of a class.
